FIRST OF THE BEANS BEING SET

I have also set the first of the bush beans -the 2 German varieties :-

1. dubble witte - 20 of
2. cropper teepee 24 of

These have gone straight into some well wartered compost... I have put them along the edges of the big tubs with the arches in as they need no support -they only grew about 8" tall last year, so they will provide some extra veggies in what would otherwise be dead space..

there are going to be sweetcorn along the other edges of the tubs and then the tall beans growing up the arches...

I have also got some raddishes set today.... so I'm getting there slowly
