Well, I am thrilled to say that my sweet potato has the first signs of slips appearing -tiny litte pink buds are making an appearance ..... only a couple so far -but its a good sign!!!!
We keep getting snow and frosts in spurts -so I haven't even started any of my other seeds yet...
I think I will have to give it another couple of weeks and then take the risk and make a start

The ones I put in before Christmas (unheated) haven't shown any signs of growth. I'm going to pot the second lot that I've scrubbed as you suggested today and keep them in the warm so hopefully I'll get some slips in time to plant.
No snow here but the nights are still frosty.

Hi there
I am amazed that they are starting to bud already, can't wait to see how many I get off it!!!
Our snow has gone... but it is so wet and miserable and I know we aren't out of the frosts yet -so Im holding off for a couple more weeks before I start setting seeds. The plants will only get stressed if they are ready to go out before the weather picks up -I found this out last year ;-)
I can't wait to get started
Hi Mrs M
Just popping on here as well - to say "Thanks very much" for the seeds. Your "death" look you gave him for forgetting musta worked - as he's duly done so - and I have them here now.
Thanks again
