REMOSKA GOLDEN SYRUP PUDDINGS

I concocted these the other day when I was in desperate need of something sweet (saved trundling to the shop and wasting money)... I did them for the Remoska -thought I would share them, they were gorgeous -the pic is a bit pale as its artificial light -but at least you can see the size)

  1. 150g margarine/butter

  2. 150g granulated sugar

  3. 2 eggs

  4. 130g SR flour

  5. drop of milk

  • cream the butter and sugar until light n fluffy

  • beat in the eggs 1 at a time

  • stir in the flour and a drop of milk to slacken

  • I placed 1tbs spoon in the bottom of each of the 4 individual metal pudding basins

  • then shared out the cake mix

  • place in the remoska

  • pour about 1" boiling water into the remoska pan

  • cover the tops with a layer of foil

  • and switch on..mine took 40 Min's

they came out just like being steamed in a pan of boiling water..so I'm rather impressed ...ohh and they are nice cold too
